MEDIA NOW: making it in the “real world”
The conference will include a keynote address by Don Logan, Time Warner Cable, Mark Frauenfelder, founder of BoingBoing.net, one of the world’s most popular blogs, will be teleconferencing in from California to share insight into how he’s grown his online hobby into a successful enterprise. Will Pearson, co-founder and president of the nationally acclaimed mental_floss magazine and Birmingham resident will moderate the Internet panel. Sessions throughout the day will cover various aspects of media including broadcast, Internet, print and PR. Other participants in the conference will be:
